Best in America!
CWLA has earned the Best in America Seal of Excellence from Independent Charities of America (ICA). Based on rigorous independent review, this seal is awarded to the members of ICA that document and demonstrate annually that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. These standards include those required by the U.S. government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, one of the most selective fund drives in the world. Of the more than one million charities operating in the United States today, fewer than 1 in 500 have been awarded this seal. When you donate to CWLA, you know your money will be used effectively to help vulnerable children and families.
CWLA has been named for five straight years (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016) to the top-rated nonprofits list by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews for nonprofit organizations. The top-rated Children and Families nonprofits list is composed of organizations that have received at least ten positive reviews from stakeholders, such as volunteers, donors, or clients. CWLA has received more than 20 reviews to date. The reviews were posted as part of the Children and Families campaign conducted by GreatNonprofits, in partnership with Guidestar and a coalition of nonprofit organizations. “We are gratified to be able to honor CWLA for its work on Children and Families issues,” said Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits. “They deserve to be recognized for the support they have from their community of stakeholders.” All reviews appear on GreatNonprofits.org as well as GuideStar.org, the premiere source for donor research on nonprofits.
