The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) released thirteen (13) more Title IV-E Prevention Services programs and services ratings for the Title IV-E Prevention Services in accordance with the Family First Prevention Services Act.

 

These practices include mental health services, substance abuse prevention and treatment services, and in-home parent skill-based programs. Two programs met the supported rating, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (Weissman, et al. Manual), and Multidimensional Family Therapy.

 

Five services met the promising rating, Incredible Years – Toddler Basic Program, Incredible Years – School Age Basic Program, Triple P- Positive Parenting Program – Group (Level 4), Triple P- Positive Parenting Program – Self-Directed (Level 4), and Triple P- Positive Parenting Program – Standard (Level 4).

 

Six programs and services received the rating of does not currently meet the criteria. The Seven Challenges – Adolescent received the rating because no studies met eligibility criteria for review. Incredible Years – Parents and Babies Program, Incredible Years – Preschool Basic Program, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (Stuart & Robertson Manual), and The Seven Challenges – Adult received the rating because no studies of the program achieved a rating of moderate or high on design and execution. Triple P – Positive Parenting Program – Online received the rating because no studies of the program achieved a rating of moderate or high on design and execution demonstrated a favorable effect on a target outcome
