As a premier national child welfare organization, CWLA is poised to offer undergraduate, graduate, and law students, as well as recent college graduates, a rigorous and rewarding educational experience to complement their formal training. Although intern and field placement responsibilities vary according to the needs of the department to which applicants are assigned, all CWLA internships and field placements are substantive and offer participants the opportunity to maximize their professional and educational development.

Please note that remote internships are not currently being considered. Public policy interns will work from our headquarters office in Washington, DC.
