Searching for the “Very Best in Youth"Nestlé’s Very Best In Youth awards, cosponsored by Nestlé and Reading is Fundamental (RIF), honors 30 young people who have made reading a priority and in the process have made tangible contributions to the quality of life in their communities. The 30 honorees will be profiled in a special publication and will receive a four-day all-expenses paid trip (with a parent or legal guardian) to Los Angeles for the black-tie awards ceremony in July 2003. In addition, Nestlé will donate $1,000 in the name of each winner to the charity of his or her choice. Each youth nominated will receive a Certificate of Appreciation.
