Participate in a New Breakthrough Series Collaborative

2/13/2008:   Casey Family Programs and American Humane are seeking public and tribal child welfare agencies nationwide to participate in the planning, field-testing, and evaluation of new strategies and tools to transform child welfare practice.

The agencies will work in teams over 33 months to employ the American Humane - Casey Breakthrough Series Collaborative (BSC) on Safety and Risk Assessments, a quality-improvement process used extensively in the health care field. Teams will locally test ideas, processes, strategies, and tools for improving the assessments of safety and risk in their respective child welfare systems.
