Identify Evidence-Based Programs on New SAMSHA Website

12/14/2007:   The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has developed a new website to help the public identify evidence-based programs and practices to prevent or treat mental and substance use disorders.

Debuting last month, A Guide to Evidence-Based Practices on the Web features numerous links that can be browsed by content area, age group, or treatment setting. Each listing includes the name of the organization sponsoring the website, the link to the actual website, a statement of the site's purpose and intended audience, and key features, such as sources of evidence and review processes and information on resources needed to implement the evidence-based practices properly.

If you know of others who would like their names added to this list, please have them visit www.cwla.org/wer4kdz/wer4kdz.htm. To remove yourself from this list, send an e-mail to wer4kdz@cwla.org with "Remove from WeR4Kdz List" in the subject line.
