Government Website Makes Finding CFSR Results and State PIPs Easier

5/24/2006:   Looking for a website where you can easily locate and review the findings of the Child and Family Service Reviews (CFSRs) in your state and others? The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) has created such an online resource. The site contains concise summaries of all state CFSR findings.

In addition to reports on individual key findings from 2001-2004 for each state, statewide assessments, final reports, and Program Improvement Plans (PIPs) are also available.

The U.S. Children’s Bureau uses the CFSRs to oversee state child welfare agency practice conformity to federal requirements, determine what is happening to children and families receiving state child welfare services, and help states enhance their capacity to help children and families.
