Share Your Knowledge About Child Safety and Well-Being on the Other Side of the World

9/7/2005:   Child advocates and experts are being sought to participate in the Fifth Shanghai International Forum for Children, Nov. 24-26, in China. The topic of the conference will be policy and practice regarding children's safety and social responsibilities, including issues surrounding child abuse and neglect, childhood psychological problems, and the effects of violent mass media on child safety.

Global Interactions, a U.S. nonprofit organization that facilitates professional partnerships and development in education, science, and technology through domestic and international partnerships, is assembling a U.S. delegation of experts to attend, present professional papers, and participate in panel discussions. Those wishing to join the delegation must submit a 250-word abstract and a resume to Global Interactions for review by Sept. 23.
