Say "Cheese" for Generations United

6/28/2005:   Generations United (GU) is sponsoring the 2005 Intergenerational Photography Contest to show that intergenerational cooperation improves the lives of youth and seniors. The grand-prize winner will receive $250 and an invitation to the Generations United Annual Awards Banquet in Washington, DC, September 15, 2005. The second-place winner receives $100, and third place wins $ 50. Honorable mention winners will be named in each of the five leading categories: celebration of diversity, emotional expression, humorous situations, intergenerational activity portrayed, and emerging talent.

Amateur photographers over 50 and under 21 years of age are eligible and may submit no more than three photographs. Color or black-and-white photographs are acceptable. Entries must be between 3" x 5" and 8" x 10" and include the negative or digital file. High-resolution digital photos in JPEG format are acceptable and can be sent to dlent@gu.org, in addition to a hard copy mailed to GU. Deadline for entries is July 31. Entries become the property of GU and will not be returned. Download an entry form at www.gu.org.
