Register Online Through March 15 for Nonviolence Conference

3/8/2005:   The deadline is fast approaching to register online for the 7th Annual Global Nonviolence Conference in Detroit, April 16-21. The goal of the conference is to mobilize, educate, and train leaders in nonviolent conflict reconciliation, and help them implement nonviolence strategies in their communities. Aggressive behavior, violence, and other human/race relations problems in homes, schools, police departments, churches, workplaces, and the community at large will specifically be addressed.

Workshops at the conference are designed to provide corporate managers, educators, law-enforcement, and human resource professionals, parents, and students with opportunities to gain meaningful information and training to become catalysts for change.

The Michigan Institute for Nonviolence Education, the Metro Detroit Center for Attitudinal Healing, and the Cities for Peace Project are hosting the conference.
