On the Cover of This Issue

Our cover photo is a selected portrait from the Freddie Mac Foundation Heart Gallery of children in foster care waiting to be adopted. Roosevelt, 14, is a warm, friendly, and likable boy with a good sense of humor and easy smile. He loves basketball, swimming, video games, board games, and riding his bike. He likes school and makes friends easily. His strengths are in social studies, music, physical education, handwriting, and art--he recently discovered his talent at drawing super-heroes. Roosevelt also loves Chinese food. What he wants most is to become someone's son. More information about adopting Roosevelt, or any child listed in the Heart Gallery.
