Unfurl the Children's Memorial Flag
During National Child Abuse Prevention Month in April, children's memorial gardens across the country raise the Children's Memorial Flag to increase awareness about the hundreds of children who die from abuse and neglect each year in the United States. CWLA spearheads the flag initiative and encourages agencies, organizations, and communities nationwide to fly the flag on the fourth Friday in April--or all year long if they wish.
Children's Memorial flags are available to purchase on CWLA's webstore or by calling 800/407-6273. The nylon, all-weather flags come in two sizes: 5' x 8' and 3' x 5'. Children's Memorial Flag pins, bumper stickers, and magnets are also available for purchase. All proceeds support CWLA's efforts to serve more than 9 million vulnerable and at-risk children annually.
