CWLA Standards of Excellence for Services for Abused or Neglected Children and Their Families
In addition to addressing family issues of child abuse, these revised standards recognize and address the increasing impact of societal issues such as family structure, substance abuse, poverty, domestic violence, welfare reform, and juvenile delinquency on families and child protective services. The current standards have been updated to reflect changes in federal statutes, especially recent revisions to the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act, and current case practice issues and philosophical beliefs. Contains recommended caseload standards.
