IMPORTANT UPDATE - JANUARY 31, 2007
House Bill 1059 passed the South Dakota State Senate on a 35-0 vote and will
now go to the Governor for signature.
The passage of House Bill 1059, which allows for the appropriate sharing of
records between the Departments of Social Services, Corrections, and the
Court, is a significant accomplishment of the Council of Juvenile Services
and the Juvenile Justice Records Committee.
