Child and Youth Care Worker Certification Institute of Texas
The Child and Youth Care Worker Certification Institute of Texas oversees the credentialing of professional child and youth care practitioners in Texas. The Institute certifies individual practitioners using a four-tiered hierarchy, provides technical assistance in the development of an in-agency and college curriculum, reviews and approves curricula that meet certification standards, and conducts research relating to child and youth care practice. The Institute conducts standardized testing in Texas and other states.
