Financing and Contracting Practices in Child Welfare Initiatives and Medicaid Managed Care
In selecting the topic for this monograph, CWLA, the tracking project
partners, and George Washington University identified core features that
were common to both child welfare and Medicaid managed care reforms. No
single feature is more identifiable with Medicaid managed care or dominant
in child welfare initiatives than new financing and contracting
arrangements. Given the prevalence and importance of these issues, this
monograph details the findings of CWLA's studies on financing of child
welfare and Medicaid managed care reforms.
