It takes everyone, working together, to create environments and communities within which children, youth, and families can flourish. Responsibility must be shared among professionals and non-professionals, among community members and non-community members, across disciplines, and among all entities.

National Blueprint Guiding Principle – Families, individuals, communities, organizations, and systems protect children from abuse and neglect, and provide an array of supports and services that help children, youth, and their families to accomplish developmental tasks, develop protective factors, and strengthen coping strategies.
