WE PLAY OUR ROLE IN MAKING
SURE ALL CHILDREN GROW UP
SAFELY WITH EVERYTHING THEY
NEED TO FLOURISH.

OUR WORK

The CWLA National Blueprint for Excellence in Child Welfare and CWLA’s programmatic Standards of Excellence for Child Welfare Services set a framework for all children, youth and families to flourish. This framework encompasses all of the work we do at CWLA and allows CWLA to play a unique national role in shaping quality programs and practices across the country.

Shaping quality programs and practices requires that CWLA have an advocacy program and legislative agenda that is supportive of our program and practice goals.

Our consultation services are also grounded in CWLA’s National Blueprint and programmatic Standards of Excellence.  Our goal is to achieve positive outcomes for children, youth, and families, and for the organizations and communities that support them.

Our other areas of focus – publications, training and conferences – are also designed to advance the goals of the National Blueprint and Standards of Excellence, as well as to be responsive to other needs and interests in child welfare and related fields of service.
