February 23, 2004, Washington, DC -- The Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) today announced the recipients of its 2004 Corporate Friend of Children Awards. Navigant International, the second-largest corporate travel management firm in the U.S., will receive this prestigious award for its outstanding commitment to bettering the lives of children, youth, and families within its corporate and family community.

"We are pleased to present this award to Navigant International, whose unique collaboration with our member agency has enabled over four hundred children living in foster care to find safe and permanent homes," remarks Shay Bilchik, CWLA's President and Chief Executive Officer. "Navigant is a true model of active corporate engagement in the well-being of the community and its children."

The award will be presented to Navigant International at a dinner on February 24, 2004, during CWLA's national conference in Washington, DC. The annual dinner attracts over 1,200 child advocates, representatives from Capitol Hill, national child-serving and human service organizations, foster parents, and child welfare professionals from across the country.

Navigant International (NASDAQ NM: FLYR) was nominated by the Adoption Exchange in Englewood, Colorado. The Adoption Exchange's partnership with Navigant has enabled the agency to expand their programs and help find permanent homes for children living in foster care. Since 1991, this sponsorship and support exceeds $1,050,000 translating into over 420 adoptions. Navigant has given its support in other ways such as the sponsorship of an annual international golf tournament and in-kind travel services that enable Adoption Exchange employees to attend business meetings and travel between offices.

"Navigant International's commitment to the communities in which its Associates live and work is unwavering. They have proven to be a generous, caring and valuable friend, a friend the Adoption Exchange is proud to see honored by CWLA," said Dixie Davis, Executive Director of the Adoption Exchange.

Paul Shamon, Navigant's Vice President of Marketing and Communications, said, "Navigant is pleased to accept this award give by CWLA. Service to the community is one of the core values that drives the work we do."

Criteria used by CWLA in the selection of the awardees include: personnel and management policies that promote the well-being of its employees; giving and philanthropic activities that benefit children, youth, and families; products that are not harmful to children and families or their physical and cultural environment; and a sustained pattern of national, state, or local activities that benefit children, families, and the community.
