Subject: Website Improvements and Members Discussion Networking

The last year has witnessed dramatic improvements in our website, http://www.cwla.org. We are proud to announce that we have a new look, and tools to provide easier access to timely information. With the further development of our "Members Only" site, and regional pages, you've got access to more local resources and information, too. Now we have some more new developments that we think you'll find exciting and helpful as well.

You've told us that the capacity to participate on our taskforces, advisory and steering committees, and other regional and national meetings is important. We've also heard that many of you would like to use the Members Only website to network, post questions, and to learn about the important issues all agencies face day to day. The newest additions to our Members Only site give you the access you need-the capacity to post questions, answer questions, and network within your region and between regions.

Simply log in to http://www.cwla.org/membersonly and enter the Discussion Groups under either Regional Information or National Information. (If you don't know your member login and password, contact your regional office or click on the help links) To post a question or a topic click on "Create a New Topic"; to answer a question already posted, click on the topic and then select "Respond to this Topic." Some regions even have affinity groups that target CEOs, fund development, human resources, programs, and information systems issues. Post a question or answer in one of these groups by going to "Affinity Groups," and clicking "View List of Topics," and following the instructions above for general posting.
