Subject: Research to Practice (R2P)

CWLA and its members know one thing for certain: Our members produce vibrant, effective, and successful services every day. Somewhere in this nation, there is an idea, a practice, or a program that is making a real difference in the lives of kids and families, with the evidence to back it up. With its R2P initiative, CWLA is helping to identify and carefully review research literature and effective evidence-based programs and practices, and disseminating that information to our members. Providing support toward replication of success is one of CWLA's most important activities.

How does R2P spread the word?

  • Seminars, conference workshops, and teleconferences nationwide;
  • On-site comprehensive consultation grounded in evidence of effectiveness; and
  • CWLA's R2P website, www.cwla.org/programs/r2p, the primary source for R2P publications such as the Research Roundup, the Toolkit Series, annotated bibliographies, and feature articles.
We encourage you to review the information and consider the adaptation or replication of evidence-based programs that will positively impact child and family outcomes.
