Subject: Conference Discounts

Members consistently tell us that the variety of CWLA conferences, trainings, and other events are among the most important benefits they receive. If you're looking for information on fundraising, human resources, advocacy, child welfare, juvenile justice, behavioral health, child and youth development, cultural competency, education, health care, or dozens of other topics, odds are CWLA's conferences cover the issue from a number of different angles.

And remember that as a CWLA member, your organization is able to send its staff to all of these gatherings at significant discounts compared to nonmembers. The savings vary from event to event, but, for example, at the 2003 National Conference to be held this March in Washington, DC, members save $100 on registration fees. If you send a few employees to a couple of conferences each year, not only will you have a more knowledgeable, energized staff, but your CWLA membership will save you hundreds of dollars.
