Neighbor To Family, a non-profit Accredited Sibling Foster Care Program located in five states, is seeking a CFO to provide both operational and programmatic support to the organization. The Chief Financial Officer will work with the President/CEO on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating a stakeholder relationships on city, state, and national levels, as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts. To participate in developing new business, specifically: assist the CEO and Executive VP in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery. The CFO will provide the CEO with an operating budget. Work to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis, support, and compliance with all contractual and programmatic requirements. The CFO will also oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets.
Master’s Degree in Accounting or Business, C.P.A preferred. Plus seven-ten yrs. of financial and management experience with the day-to day financial operations of an organization of at least 100 employees. At least two years’ experience working in child welfare or social service environment with emphasis on federal funding.
