The Child Welfare League of America envisions a future in which families, neighborhoods, communities, organizations, and governments ensure that all children and youth are provided with the resources that they need to grow into healthy, contributing members of society. By including CWLA in your will, living trust or other estate plan, you will strengthen our ability to make our vision a reality.

There are many ways to leave a bequest to CWLA. For example, you may designate that CWLA receive a specific dollar amount or asset. You may assign CWLA as a beneficiary of a certain percentage of your estate, or even as a contingency beneficiary. You may leave specific bequests to family members and friends, but specify that CWLA receive a certain percentage of the remaining estate value. Your bequest to CWLA would pass completely free of gift or estate tax. So, every penny can be used for

promoting the well-being of children, youth and their families.

You can designate your bequest for a specific program, or leave it "unrestricted" to provide CWLA with the maximum flexibility to address changing needs. For more information, call us at 703-412-2400 or email guidedgiving@cwla.org

The Child Welfare League of America is not engaged in rendering legal or tax advisory service. Please notify your attorney or other professional advisor for advice or assistance in specific cases.
