HoneyBaked Ham Company

Strong families are the foundation for kids who are safe, healthy, and thriving. The HoneyBaked Ham Company of Georgia is helping CWLA make families stronger...one of the very first, very important steps in protecting America's children.

To encourage families to communicate the old-fashioned way- face to face, amid the scraping of plates and the clinking of silverware - The HoneyBaked Ham Company of Georgia also offered a family dinner special. One dollar from each special meal purchased in September was donated to CWLA.

Complimentary Mother's Day Card

The "mealtime" program is just one of a series in an ongoing, creative alignment between CWLA and The HoneyBaked Ham of Company Georgia, launched on Mother's Day 1998. With each HoneyBaked Ham or gift certificate purchased in anticipation of that venerable holiday, The HoneyBaked Ham Company of Georgia included a complementary mother's day card designed especially for CWLA and donated a portion of the proceeds to CWLA. The donations, in tandem with the C.H.A.T. and Mother's Day Cards programs generated a $50,000 donation to CWLA in '98.

Nancy Gibson joins PRAC Steering Committee

In addition, Nancy Gibson, vice president of marketing for The HoneyBaked Ham Company of Georgia, recently joined the PRAC steering committee. Nancy brings a strong marketing back- ground to PRAC, including 12 years at the Coca-Cola Company as worldwide marketing director of Diet Coke. CWLA is fortunate to be able to draw on Nancy's marketing expertise to increase awareness of the needs of neglected and abused children nationwide.
