Human Resources
NCFC has both staff and independent consultants with the experience and
expertise to assist agencies in reviewing and revising various aspects of their
Human Resources departments. These areas include:
- job descriptions,
- performance evaluations,
- compensation packages,
- personnel policies and procedures,
- employee handbooks, and
- employee satisfaction/opinion surveys.
Both on- and offsite consultation is available to either review existing materials
or to develop new ones.
Additional information and consultation is available at discounted rates for
CWLA member agencies through the Workplace Helpline. The toll-free
Employer HELPLINE provides access to human resource professionals who
answer questions on regulatory and compliance concerns and on how to
handle workplace issues such as hiring, termination, recruitment, retention,
training, the Family and Medical Leave Act, compensation, harassment,
discrimination, fraud, theft, and violence. The annual fee for HELPLINE
for CWLA members is $495 ($795 regular price). For more information
