Board Orientation and Development
Through the use of retreats, planning sessions, and educational materials,
NCFC works with leadership boards from public and private organizations to
increase their overall performance and effectiveness. NCFC helps boards
partner with their senior administrators to create strong, knowledgeable,
mission-driven leadership teams. NCFC focuses on helping board members
understand the critical roles they play as organizational strategists and advocates.
Many organizations seek NCFC's consultation support and assistance for
supervision and evaluation of the CEO, policy development, fundraising, and
risk management.
NCFC can also assist board members in revitalizing recruitment and nominating
processes to engage new members in the important work of their organizations.
