CWLA's 2009 National Conference
Children Today...America's Future!
Proposal Submission Introduction
Deadline: 12:00PM (Noon), Eastern Time, Thursday, July 31, 2008
Call for Papers
CWLA is heading in exciting new directions that will improve
children's lives. During the next year, our nation will elect a new
President, and CWLA will continue to lead the call for a White
House Conference on Children and Youth in 2010. Our national
conference, Children Today... America's Future! will set
the stage for the important work to be done in 2009 to make the
well-being of our children a top priority- among both policymakers,
and the general public.
If there is one conference you attend in 2009, Children Today... America's
Future! should be it! Building on the wave of excitement surrounding a possible
White House Conference, we will have the great features you've come to expect (innovative
workshops and fantastic networking opportunities) while adding new energy with more youth and CWLA members working
with us to advance the latest research, practice excellence, organizational leadership, and legislative initiatives to improve
outcomes for children, youth, and families.
We invite you to submit a workshop proposal for the CWLA National Conference, which will be held in Washington,
DC, February 23-25, 2009. Proposals must be submitted electronically by noon (ET) on Thursday, July 31.*
