Building Organizational
Capacity (BOC)
(Separate fee payable and sent to COA required)
This training will provide participants with a definition
of organizational capacity and address the need and
relevance for nonprofit organizations to enhance their
capacity. Building organizational capacity is an incredibly
important means by which organizations can be sustainable
and successfully achieve their mission.
Audience: Senior staff of
human service organizations.
Materials: Participants will
receive a hardcopy of the trainer's
PowerPoint presentation.
Following this training
participants will have full
knowledge of the organizational
capacity domains as
well as a thorough understanding
of the connection between
COA's standards to specific
organizational capacity elements.
The organizational
capacity domains are
- mission and goal,
- governance and leadership,
- fiscal resource management,
- human resource
management,
- information resource
management,
- community linkages,
- cultural competency, and
- performance improvement and outcomes.
Cost: $300 per person.
