Introduction to the 8th Edition Standards (INTRO)

INTRO gives a comprehensive overview of the new administrative and
management standards and the administrative service delivery standards.
Training includes
- an overview of the philosophy, organization, and format of the
new standards;
- a description of the new standard initiatives, including new tools,
charts, forms, and questionnaires;
- an overview of the content of new standards with an emphasis on
achieving successful comprehension and implementation;
- a description of how to understand and utilize the tables of evidence
designed for each standard; and
- a review of the accreditation process customized to meet the
unique needs of organizations new to the process and those
already accredited.
Participants will receive
- a copy of the new COA administrative and management standards,
administrative service delivery standards, and few selected new
service standards; and
- a training workbook containing tools, instruments, and other materials
designed to assist organizations in the planning and assessment
of organizational readiness.
The cost for this training is $300.
