Hill Day General SessionCWLA's Legislative AgendaTim Briceland-Betts and John Sciamanna, Co-Directors of Government Affairs, CWLA, Washington, DCJohn Sciamanna and Tim Briceland-Betts are the co-directors of Government Affairs at CWLA. John has many years experience working with legislators at both the state and federal level. Tim has spent over 20 years in public policy on a wide array of issues. On a daily basis, they advocate on behalf of children and the members of CWLA on Capitol Hill. In addition, they oversee staff that develops, promotes, and advances the CWLA agenda. Another major goal is to educate the 535 members of Congress, as well as the members of CWLA, on how legislation and policy in Washington ultimately affect children all across the country.
