This completely online course provides a comprehensive overview of kinship care and is ideal for human services professionals as well as graduate students. The course includes 15 modules and will cover areas such as the reasons for kinship care arrangements, the impact of kinship care, practice and policy issues related to kinship care, best practices, evaluating practice with families in kinship care arrangements, and future directions for the practice of kinship care. Students may take the course for either academic credit or non-credit with the possibility of earning continuing education units.
